About Jennifer Spanier-Stiasny, D.O.
Dr. Spanier-Stiasny specializes in providing comprehensive management within the full spectrum of gastroenterology. She offers everything from routine screening colonoscopies to advanced hepatobiliopancreatic procedures such as ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and EUS (endoscopic ultrasound). Clinical interests also include irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, GERD, celiac disease, gastrointestinal cancers, and management of liver diseases. In addition to clinical care, she has authored many academic articles and presentations. She has educated many Chicago area students and residents as a long-term internal medicine faculty member. Using her wide breadth of experience, she passionately engages in carefully tailored individualized care that is up-to-date and evidence based. Dr. Spanier-Stiasny emphasizes disease prevention, patient education, and values the establishment of long-lasting partnerships with patients based on respect, trust, and open communication.
