He did his Internal Medicine Residency at Lutheran Medical Center, New York City and His Gastroenterology / Hepatology Fellowship at University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. He is affiliated with St. Vincent’s Southside, St. Vincent’s Riverside, St. Vincent’s Clay, Orange Park Medical Center and Memorial Hospital.
He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and staying up to date with the current innovations in his field.

I'm just starting with Dr. Hameed and I see some reviews from other people, but it's important to realize we are all adults and are equally responsible for our health. Dr. Hameed helped me when he saw I was clearly in pain with blood and mucus in my stool for months, my old GI doctor never seemed to listen and ignored this, thus my Crohn's went undiagnosed for several months which made me lose weight and caused joint problems. Dr. Hameed performed a colonoscopy and endoscopy on me and found evidence of Crohn's and within a month or 5 weeks I made more progress with him then I did in eleven months with other doctors. Everything has risks but in my case Dr. Hameed has helped save my life and has given me a fighting chance and I'll always rate 5 stars for that.

Dr Ahmeed has been the only gastroenterologist that have found that I could trust and brought me back from my Ulcerative colitis when others wanted to do surgery. I am glad to have him take care of me. Now if I could get him to come to Middleburg.
