About Michael E. Kader, M.D.
Dr. Michael E. Kader earned his undergraduate degree from Canisius College with a BS in Biology, his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, and completed his GI Fellowship with the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Dr. Kader is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist.
Dr. Kader has received many honors and awards including the Hearst Foundation Award, the Canisius College Earning Excellence Program, Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society, Who’s Who Among American College and University Students, and the James A. Gibson Anatomical Honor Society.
Dr. Kader’s gastroenterology interests are in all GI procedures including ERCP, colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and capsule endoscopy. He is trained in Hepatology with a wide exposure to pre-transplant and post-transplant patients.
Dr. Kader is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Kader enjoys time with his wife and three children, classic car restoration, bicycling, and fly-fishing.

Everything went smoothly and everyone was very professional and friendly.
Very excellent care. One uncertainty was an "optional attachment to the probe", to help spread out the walls of the colon, not covered by insurance, and described in writing with a lot of statistics that seemed inconclusive to me. I opted out. Other than that uncertainty, and the way of presenting it, which seemed odd to me, the experience was very good, and I trust their expertise and guidance.
Overall as great an experience as one can ask for! When you have a medical procedure, you want it done by someone who does that procedure all the time. Dr. Kader is skilled, professional and personable. Would highly recommend!
No difficulty getting an appointment in a timely fashion. The nurses that took care of me for my colonoscopy were gentle, kind, & skilled, and a special shout out to Brie who made me feel like I was her No. 1 priority. The prep I was given was horrible and I wouldn't recommend it. It was much more humane when I was allowed to use Miralax (in the past). Otherwise, I'd give a 5 star rating.

Dr. Kader and his staff are exceptional. They treat you with respect and are very easy to talk to. Dr. Kader is very personable and caring. He is very thorough during exams and procedures. He listens to what I have to say and never makes me feel rushed.

I have been a patient of Dr Kader’s since he first joined the practice over 12 years ago. I trust him implicitly- he is kind, patient, and always gets back to me if I call with a question or problem. He is not an alarmist, but he is proactive when I have a problem. He explains things thoroughly, and takes the time to ask my input. His immediate staff, especially Jessica, is wonderful and compassionate, as well. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Always had great care there. all the staff is friendly and helpful. I wouldn't want to go to anyone other than Dr. Kader!
