About Prithvi Sreenivasan, M.D.
Prithvi Sreenivasan, M.D. earned her medical degree from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in India, and a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She continued her training in internal medicine through Yale University at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, where she also served as Chief Resident. She then completed clinical fellowships in Transplant Hepatology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, as well as in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Norwalk Hospital, also through Yale University. Subsequently Dr. Sreenivasan practiced gastroenterology in New Haven, Connecticut, where she was also an attending gastroenterologist at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She has taught internal medicine residents and gastroenterology fellows at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Sreenivasan is well regarded for her personalized care of her patients, and understands the importance of the doctor patient relationship.

Dr. Sreenivasan treats all general digestive and liver disorders and is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. She is an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease.
