Kent N. Cunningham, M.D.

Kent N. Cunningham, MD, is a native of Lawrenceville, IL. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana and continued his medical education at the University of Illinois, Chicago, where he received his Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Cunningham completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of SC, Charleston, and attended the Medical College of Georgia where he received a fellowship in Gastroenterology. He joined Sumter Gastroenterology in 1993 and is board certified in Gastroenterology. He is past president of the South Carolina Gastroenterology Association and the Sumter, Clarendon and Lee County Medical Society. Dr. Cunningham and his wife Lauren have three daughters.
