About M. Bruce Johnson, M.D.
Dr. Bruce Johnson graduated as Valedictorian from David Lipscomb College with a B.S. in Biology in December of 1979. He earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 1984 and received the AOA Distinguished Graduate Award.
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency in 1987 and then served as Chief Medical Resident for one year. Dr. Johnson completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee in 1990 and then entered private practice in Little Rock.
He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American College of Physicians, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Johnson is married and has two children. He is a member of Fellowship Bible church and enjoys golfing, running, and watching sporting events.
I'm disgusted at healthcare these days. Especially for women, but he is one medical professional that I do not have to ask my husband to come to my appointments with me. That means a lot today.
