About Jaymie H. Pennington, M.D.
Dr. Jaymie Pennington graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S. in Biology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2001. Dr. Pennington did his Internal Medicine training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences; his GI Fellowship was completed at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the University of Iowa.
Dr. Pennington is married with children. He enjoys spending time with family, attending Razorback games, and playing golf. He and his family are members of Geyer Springs Baptist Church.

He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

I had 2 procedures done and I had the best experience. I had a panic attack before going in. The nurses let my husband come back and sit with me. The nurses gave me all the reassurance, confidence, and care. I had another anxiety attack as they were putting me to sleep and everyone in the room was so nice and caring. Dr Pennington was attentive and kept me updated through everything.

Very happy with my experience. The staff was very good, I didn't have to wait for my appointment and I think Dr. Pennington is very good. He spent time with me to answer all my questions and we came up with a good move forward plan. Only one complaint, there was a lot of paperwork to fill out. I wish I could have filled them out online before I got there to save all of us some time.
