About Kenneth K. Ellis, M.D.

Dr. Kenneth Ellis graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas at Austin in 1985. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1989 and went on to complete his internship, residency, and chief residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago.

Dr. Ellis completed his fellowship training in gastroenterology/hepatology at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland in 1997. While there, he completed additional training in liver transplantation, diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound. Dr. Ellis has practiced in Austin since 1998.
