About Adam Hafemeister, M.D.

Dr. Adam Hafemeister graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in neurobiology. He received his medical degree at the University of Texas at Houston and completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Hafemeister then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Wake Forest School of Medicine, where he received training in therapeutic ERCP and was selected to serve one year as chief fellow. Dr. Hafemeister’s areas of interest include gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer screening, and pancreaticobiliary disorders.
