About F. Douglas Srygley, IV, M.D.

Dr. Douglas Srygley graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2000 with a degree in biology. He then received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Srygley completed an internal medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center, where he was selected to serve for one year as chief resident. He remained at Duke to complete a gastroenterology fellowship and an advanced endoscopy fellowship, including training in both ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound.

In 2016, Dr. Srygley was named the recipient of the Ruth M. Bain Young Physician Award by the Travis County Medical Society. Dr. Srygley’s interests include pancreaticobiliary disorders, gastrointestinal bleeding, and endoscopic ultrasound.
