Dr Heiner, Board certified gastroenterologist, has practiced GI medicine for more than 30 years. Dr. Heiner’s goal in schooling and practice has remained to provide meaningful help to patients in need. His success in helping individuals find relief and improved quality of life is possible through his belief that every patient who puts their care in his hands should be treated as he would treat a loved one. In his experience, the information he receives from his patients is almost always enough to make an accurate diagnosis. This is where he believes medical excellence and successful care begin.

I had a really great experience with Dr. Heiner. I only had to wait about 4 minutes before he came into the exam room and although this was the first time meeting with him, he’d come very prepared with knowledge of my health history and issues. I was very impressed with his kind demeanor and listening ear. He listened to me and I felt confident in the course of action.
I will say that my experience trying to secure an appointment at Granite Peaks in the first place was extremely frustrating. I called three separate times, pressed the button for appointment making, waited ~30 minutes on hold, and was then automatically sent to a voicemail where I was assured I’d get a call back within 1 business day after giving them my name and phone number. I did this 3 separate times and never received that promised call back. I even turned my ring tone on to ensure that I never missed a call! As it turns out I had to spend additional time to drive and walk in to the office to make an appointment face-to-face. Everyone’s time is valuable and I felt very frustrated by this process.

Dr Heiner was very thorough and compassionate with the exam I had. Have me some hood instruction and guidance and a few things to look up
He took his time with me and really listened. In the end my issues were not even related to digestion and he referred me to another healthcare professional who could help me.
I have been a patient of Dr. Heiner for many years. His skills and excellent training likely saved my life by detecting a tumor in my colon which was surgically removed in a timely manner thanks to him. I have had nothing but great experiences with each office visit and or procedure. My only recommendation would be for an easier way to to schedule post-office visit procedures. There is certainly room for improvement in that area of the Granite Peak Clinic. Otherwise, I highly recommend this clinic and specifically Dr. Heiner.

Very good experience again with Dr Heiner and Granite Peaks Endoscopy. I’ve had three procedures done there now by Dr Heiner and all have been 1st rate. He is very genuine and caring and his staff is professional and efficient. Highly recommend!!
Excellent professional care team with a great specialized endoscopy center. Way easier than doing this at a hospital building somewhere. Much more personal.
Every person I interacted with, from the receptionist, to the billing department, the nurses, the technicians, the anesthesiologist and the doctor were all so very pleasant. I've never had to be anesthetized before, and I've never had a surgical procedure, so I was super nervous & scared going into my appointment alone during this pandemic. The whole team at Granite Peaks were kind & helpful & got me through my appointment with ease. I highly recommend their services.
Dr. Heiner and his staff are reliable, honest and pay attention to detail and patient needs. Everytime. I have been in need of their assistance twice in the last 8 years. They get you in for an appointment expeditiously and treat you in the same manner.
Dr. Heiner has been taking care of my severe EOE for 3 years now and I feel like I'm in good/safe hands. Not only him, but his staff and all the staff at the Endoscopy Center are amazing.
