Joining Cary Gastroenterology in 2006, Dr. Jeevan Pai is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He’s a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Education
Dr. Pai is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, NB. He received his medical degree from the Nebraska Medical School in Omaha, NB. He completed his internship and residency at Creighton University, Omaha, NB. Dr. Pai completed his fellowship in gastroenterology/hepatology at Louisiana State University, New Orleans, LA. He has a special interest in GERD, colon cancer screening, clinical research, and capsule endoscopy.

An excellent doctor with a compassionate bedside manner. He takes the time to truly understand your concerns and carefully explains all available options to help improve your situation.
Dr. Pai is such a nice person in general, but for a doctor, he’s extraordinarily nice!! He has gone above and beyond in helping me find answers to what’s wrong with me. His staff are great, too! HIGHLY recommend him if you need a gastroenterologist.

I am an MD...ex Family Med. A bit of a tough customer, for sure...From start to finish pre procedure (starts 72 hrs with Dr Pai for the screening colonoscopy) recommendations, through to the day of, and of course the MD's post procedure review...(Not to mention demeanor)... The entire anesthesia clinical crew and gi crew are top notch...keep it up (I've even advised my PCP to put Dr Pai at the top of his list for screening colonoscopy referrals...).
Doctor Pai is amazing! He listens to me and cares. He heard all my concerns and patiently addressed everything. I’m excited to get a resolution with him.

Dr.Pai and Ashley are responsive and best. Dr.Pai is knowledgeable in his field, kind and caring. I had a pain in my stomach. He helped me out by doing all sorts of right examinations and good treatment. I am feeling much better now. Thank you very much Dr.Pai.

Dr. Pai is arguably one of the best doctors I’ve ever worked with. His kind demeanor, extensive knowledge, and spot on diagnostic skills left me in awe. I’ve had to contend with some chronic issues and as a result have worked with a number of doctors. Dr. Pai is genuinely a cut above the rest.
Although there is much I could say, I’ll choose to focus on some major highlights. When explaining the progression of my symptoms, Dr. Pai listened intently, took notes where appropriate, and passed no judgement. After everything was explained, he calmly and kindly conveyed what he believed the underlying issue to be and how we could confirm or deny that working assumption. He clearly understood my concerns and what I was hoping to get out of our exchange. His suggestion was spot on and the issue was resolved based on his input.
After working with Dr. Pai I felt such a sense of relief. Just knowing that someone so competent and caring was addressing my health issues was enough to calm quite a bit of underlying fear.
If you have the chance to become his patient, I cannot recommend that decision enough. To Dr. Pai and the entire office staff, I just wanted to say thank you.
