About Paul Bongat, DO, FACP, FACR
Dr. Bongat joined Corpus Christi Rheumatology Clinic in July of 2023. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his rheumatology fellowship at the Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida. Dr. Bongat is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Bongat was not only extremely professional, he was very attentive and knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable with choosing him as my Rheumatologist. The office staff very efficient and kind.
Dr. Bongat was polite. He explained everything in detail and made sure I understood. He answered any and all questions that I had. I felt very comfortable with him. I would recommend him if anyone needs a R.A specialist.
The wait was a little long. Like 40 minutes, usually I'm in and with labs in 20-30 minutes. But it was the first visit with this particular doctor

I saw Dr. Bongat for the first time today. He was very professional. He had studied my file and was ready to see me. He made sure I understood my autoimmune disease and told me there were a few additional tests he’d like me to have to make sure I am on the correct treatment plan moving forward. I felt seen and heard. Dr. Bongat is a great addition to the CC Rheumatology Clinic.

My first with Dr. Bongat was very good. He expressed deep interested and care regarding my healthcare plan. I left feeling blessed and grateful for a physician who genuinely cares.

Dr. Bongat by far the best Rhemotologist I could see, before I was seeing the NP which was lovely too but I was misdiagnosed for three years till he saw me and knew instantly what I had and am thankful I was taken off medications I didn't need he is closely monitoring me and I'm thankful to be in good hands.
Dr Bongat explained my condition in great detail Iand we also talked about the possible causes. I felt very well taken care of.

Dr. Bongat is a outstanding doctor. Listens to his patients and explains the diagnosis to them. Discussed my wife RA and explained to us how we were going to treat it. Great bedside manor and makes you feel very comfortable during his examination. So glad we have him .
