Dr. Masand is a lifelong resident of Dallas, TX, which is where he was born and raised. He finished his undergraduate degree at Austin College and went on to medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He also completed a residency and fellowship in a medical center in Dallas. His expertise includes advanced non-invasive endoscopic procedures, such as endoscopy and colonoscopy, and advanced biliary procedures, including ERCP.

I have a great experience with Dr.Masand. I had to wait a little while to get an appointment, but it was worth it. He spent a lot of time with me and asked a lot of questions. He talked through initial thoughts and next steps and then gave me an overview of what might come later on down the road. He was very knowledgeable and kind and Inwiuld definitely recommend him.

Going to a digestive Dr can easily be a stressful visit, but from the time I made my appointment to getting my procedure to my follow up, I have had the best experience with Dr Marand, his office staff and surgery center staff. I went this week for my follow up and I’m doing so well that Dr Masand suggested that I don’t need to schedule another follow up unless I need something, but I insisted on following up in 6 months. I WANT to go and spend my money in this office.
Bottom line is, if you’re looking for a digestive disease Dr, you can not go wrong with Dr Masand and his team. 🤍

Easily one of the best doctors I've ever seen. He is extremely knowledgable, personable, and has excellent bedside manner.

Dr. Masand and his staff have tremendous bedside manner and provided me with excellent care. I went to Dr. Masand's office without an appointment due to some side affects I was having with my radiation treatments. Dr. Masand and his staff were extremely accommodating and professional and they were able to slide me into Dr. Masand's busy schedule to perform a procedure on me in order to determine the cause of my side affects. Thanks to Dr. Masand, I was able to resume my radiation treatments quickly for which I am forever grateful to Dr. Masand and his team!

I always have a good experience at Digestive Health Associates. Lovely office surroundings and the entire office staff is friendly and efficient. The nurses and PA’s are knowledgeable and well trained. Dr Masand is an excellent doctor with a pleasing and patient manner.
