About Priya Rangasamy, M.D.
Dr. Rangasamy grew up in India and completed medical school at Coimbatore Medical College before coming to the US in 2002. Her interest in gastroenterology began during her internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut. Here, she was taught and influenced by an excellent team of clinicians and research mentors who guided her toward a career in gastroenterology. Within this specialty, she is able to treat a wide range of GI diseases utilizing endoscopic techniques.
Dr. Rangasamy values the relationships she has with her patients, which she feels are built on communication and connections with all of the patient’s providers. She considers it a privilege to treat and educate her patients about their health conditions, and she values her patient’s preferences in treatment. Dr. Rangasamy is truly honored that both her patients and their referring physicians entrust their care to her.
Dr. Rangasamy has received several honors and awards, including the Program Directors Award, the National Merit Scholarship from the Government of India, the National Scholarship Excellence Award, and the Certificate of Merit from the Headmasters Council.

Great service and everyone was super friendly and kind.
Recently had a colonoscopy. Dr Rangasamy and her staff were very helpful and friendly. Staff at the center made an unpleasant experience as pleasant as possible. Would highly recommend Dr.Rangasamy.
She listened to my questions and made the process easier. Felt so relaxed and was happy to I didn’t have to drink the liquid. Tablets worked without discomfort! Back in a year!

I have seen Dr. Rangasamy for several years. I am very impressed and obviously satisfied with the professional service she and her office provides. Dr. Rangasamy takes the time to understand your needs, provides the services, but also follows up herself to understand how the patient is doing. I don’t have that with any other provider.

I’ve never met a more kind, caring doctor and staff. Dr Rangasamy sent me to specific testing where my symptoms were diagnosed and treatment was provided. She absolutely did not give up until a diagnosis was found. She is incredible.

My 1st visit to Dr. Rangasamy, was such a pleasant experience. Each staff member was very welcoming and made you feel comfortable. The waiting room was extremely nice, clean, and comfortable. I was thirty when I got off off the elevator and before I could get into the door you see a refrigerator full of water bottles. I was so glad, it was right on time. This was truly thoughtful and planned out for her patience.
