Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?

The intellectual challenge of diagnosing and treating an array of gastrointestinal illnesses is something that motivates me daily. A passion for quality healthcare delivery whether it be procedures (such as quality colonoscopy) or solving problems of a patient’s gastrointestinal health is something that I truly enjoy.

Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?

Quality colonoscopy, liver disease, and inflammatory bowel disease. Alternative Medicine in GI care, Health and Wellness

Undergraduate: New Jersey Institute of Technology (Honors College, Combined BS/MD Program with degree in Engineering Science and a minor in History)
Medical School: Rutgers University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
Residency in Internal Medicine: University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston
GI Fellowship: Baylor College of Medicine

What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?

Running, listening to music, spending valuable time with the family and the children’s various activities
