Gastroenterology is one of those few areas in medicine where time honored, bedside patient-physician interactions in clinical medicine interact seamlessly and successfully with modern technology (like endoscopy). This method improves the diagnosis and management of ailments affecting the gastrointestinal tract.

Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?

Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett’s esophagus, colorectal cancer screening, endoscopic dilation and enteral stents, and the evaluation and treatment of liver diseases.

Medical Training: India at Government Medical College and University of Kashmir, Internal Medicine Residency: University of Missouri School of Medicine,
Fellowship: University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
