Dr. Alexander Mantas is regarded as one of Dallas’ premier board-certified gastroenterologists offering consultation, evaluation and treatment of all gastrointestinal conditions. He is locally educated and trained and began his career in 2010 with the goal of creating a new approach to gastrointestinal care. He is a member of Digestive Health Associates of Texas (DHAT) and a physician at the top hospitals located in North Dallas. Dr. Mantas is excited to bring his patients into a state of perfect digestive health by combining the cutting-edge of modern science with the gentle art of old-fashioned medicine. I’ve had two colonoscopies with Dr. Mantas. They couldn’t have gone more smoothly. His staff, from the admitting nurse to the excellent anesthesiologist to the doctor himself, was warm, professional, and—I know this sounds corny, but it’s true—comforting. After the procedure I felt fine in every way, physically and mentally. I highly recommend Dr. Mantas and his skilled team.

They provided me with every detail of my procedure since it was my first one and took great care of me. Everything about my experience here was top notch, except for some scheduling confusion that caused me to have missed my appointment time. No worries -- the team scrambled and made sure I was taken care of, even though it lengthened their day. Everyone had great attitudes. The facility was clean; it felt new. The doctor was kind, the nurse anesthetist was competent and friendly. I woke up fast and was ready to go home very quickly. I would give five stars except for the fact that they screwed up my appointment time and caused unnecessary delays and stress. Also, I preferred using Miralax in Gatorade for my prep to the prep they ordered this time. Tasted better, worked faster and didn't affect me for as long as this one did.

Great experience and friendly people all around. They make you feel comfortable, and, for a colonoscopy, it's a very easy in and out without much recovery.
