About Andrea Gray, APRN

Andrea Gray was born in Seattle, Washington. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Missouri and her master’s degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with honors. Andrea has over 15 years of Gastroenterology experience and is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. She is a member of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates, the American Nurses Association, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her treatment philosophy is to empower her patients with the knowledge needed to successfully traverse through and ultimately manage their own disease processes.

Her special interests include management of irritable bowel syndrome and other functional gastrointestinal disorders with the use of motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral techniques. Andrea and her husband have two children. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors hiking and kayaking, and is a long distance runner.
