About Andrew Shea, M.D.
Dr. Shea diagnoses and treats a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions including reflux disease, hiatal hernia, liver diseases, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), colon cancer screening, pancreatic disease, celiac disease, and diverticulosis. He performs colonoscopies, upper endoscopies (EGD), feeding tube placements, 48-hour pH BRAVO testing, and esophageal and colonic dilations.

Efficient, effective, caring. For many years now.
I’ve been treating with Dr. Shea for many years for my Crohn’s Disease. He takes the time to listen and then responds. He explains the treatment plans/options, he makes sure that you understand the conversation and always asks if there’s anything else that you’d like to ask or add.

I really liked the Doctors attitude toward my concerns of getting my procedure done effectivley I felt very assured when left his office.
Dr. Shea is the best! He is very knowledgeable and really listens to your concerns. He then comes up with a plan of action and has you make an appointment to see him in the next few weeks. His staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

During my visit at the center, everyone was very professional and attentive, very caring especially my nurse Kristy. I would highly recommend DHAT surgical center, Dr Shea was very knowledgeable and explained every detail as what was going to be done before and after, yes definitely would recommend DHAT.
