About Angela K. Nutt, M.D.

Dr. Angela K. Nutt joined GastroArkansas in 1999.  She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Dallas, graduating Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in Biology.  After graduating from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine in 1993 with honors in research, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Arkansas College of Medicine.

She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  She is also a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American College of Physicians, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.  She has also been the President of the Arkansas Oklahoma Endoscopy Society and currently serves as Vice Chair of Gastroenterology at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

Dr. Nutt is married and has three children:  Joshua, Ann Marie, and Christina.  She and her family attend Christ the King Church in Little Rock.

Other than her medical practice, she enjoys spending time with her children and being involved in their activities.  She also enjoys running and cycling.

Dr. Nutt’s practice philosophy is to treat others the way she would want her own family treated – with care and compassion.
