About Binh V. Pham, M.D.
Dr. Binh Pham earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1999. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2005. Following his fellowship, Dr. Pham returned to Charleston to pursue an advanced therapeutic endoscopy fellowship, graduating in 2006.
That same year, Dr. Pham became an assistant professor of medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. While there, he was an active participant in clinical research, authored numerous manuscripts and abstracts, and was course director for interventional endoscopic symposiums on both regional and national levels.
Dr. Pham joined Austin Gastroenterology in January 2011. He is an advanced endoscopic physician who specializes in highly sophisticated procedures including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic mucosal resection of precancerous gastrointestinal lesions, deep small bowel enteroscopy, metal luminal stenting, and minimally invasive therapy for gastrointestinal perforations to name a few.
Dr. Pham is a member of regional and national societies including Travis County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Texas Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy, where he currently is a board member. He has been named in Austin Monthly as a Top Doctor in his field.
