I visited Dr Hughes at AZ Digestive Health twice: for an initial consultation last month and a colonoscopy yesterday. All aspects of the visits were outstanding. Dr Hughes and everyone with whom I interacted were professional, efficient and friendly. All were communicative and had great attitudes, including those who cared for me before, during and after the procedure. The results of the procedure were communicated in writing and were comprehensive, including images taken during the procedure. I was even accompanied as I walked to the waiting car after recovery. I was seriously impressed.
Dr Hughes made me feel very calm and confident in his program. I feel I am in the best hands to find out what is going on in my gut. So glad I found Dr Hughes.

Dr. Hughes was able to diagnosis a condition I had after I lost weight. His diagnosis lead to the removal of a cancerous polyp I did not know I had. He referred me to an excellent surgeon tat handled the polyp. Dr. Hughes kept in contact and continued to monitor my condition and gave me good advise on follow up appointments. Thanks to Dr. Hughes for all he has done and the help he has given me. I am now on the road to recovery. Thanks Doc....

Staff is extremely courteous and professional... Feedback on my results was timely.
The office visit was great. The doctor is very informed and has good bedside manner. Staff is courteous and prompt as well. Only area for improvement thus far includes post exam communications. My lab order did not indicate whether or not I had to fast. The texting option for communication did not identify me as the correct patient. And messages are slow to be responded to through the portal.
