Dr. Shiv Desai has been with Austin Gastro providing great in-patient care in South Austin, and started seeing patients for outpatient care at our office on Shoal Creek Blvd. in October 2020. Dr. Desai explains why doctor-patient communication is a top priority in his practice. He is passionate about making sure his patients fully understand their diagnosis and treatment plan. He believes patients who are engaged in their treatment typically have a better patient experience, which can lead to better outcomes.
