About Elissa Lin, M.D.

Dr. Elissa Lin graduated Summa Cum Lade from Harvard University and attended New York University School of Medicine for both her medical degree and residency training. She then moved to California to complete her gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles.

Dr. Lin has both published and presented research related to obesity, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Her special interests include the management of GERD, dysphagia, and chronic liver diseases. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), and American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society (ANMS).

While Dr. Lin grew up in the Northeast, she is excited to join her family in San Antonio and take advantage of all the family-oriented activities. During her time outside of work, Dr. Lin enjoys jogging, cooking, and exploring national parks.
