Todd Lemmel, MD is the Vice President of Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the Chairman of the Franciscan St. Francis Health Indianapolis campus Internal Medicine Patient Care Committee. His dedication to high quality patient care and his commitment to medical education distinguishes his career. Dr. Lemmel has chaired the St Francis Patient Care Committee for the last decade. He commits a great deal of time annually to medical education lecturing on gastroenterology topics and working individually with family practice residents in support of the St. Francis Family Practice Residency Program. Dr. Lemmel graduated from the University of Dayton in 1987, then attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency training and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. Dr. Lemmel is board certified in gastroenterology through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Since 2011, he has consistently been named one of the region’s Top Doctors. Dr. Lemmel is a member of the Indianapolis Medical Society, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society of Gastroenterology Endoscopy. His interests include golf and coaching his children in baseball and basketball.
