The staff was very nice, the location was clean and spacious. Both the nurse and the doctor sat and listened to me and my concerns and I didn't feel rushed.
The staff were very friendly & professional. Dr Davis was pleasant and very thorough in going over my past gastro procedures. That was very helpful. All in all, the visit was good.
All was very good from check in, the Tech who took my history and vitals (Megan, I think) to our PA Ashua (spelling). Awesome service and told me I should be fine to take blood thinners for a short time for my Watchman heart procedure.

Front desk staff and nurse were professional but not personable. Kate, Dr Davis’ assistant was professional and extremely pleasant. Prior to my appointment she was able to schedule me earlier than the original person I spoke with, and in person, the day of my appointment, she was very helpful.

My 1st impression of Dr. R.Davis was that he understood and acknowledged my previous surgeries and ongoing PAH concerns. His compassion shown left me with the feeling that I would be in good hands while under endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures .
I have always seen Dr. LaFond and he's wonderful. Today I saw Taylor Moo-Young, PA. She explained her recommendation to me and I appreciated her asking me how I felt about it knowing it was a shared decision and different that what I went in hoping to have. Then, I had to schedule a procedure. I explained to Kate Averette the unique reason I needed this at a specific time. Rather than her saying, the hospital will call you to schedule, she said, wait here and we'll call together!!!! I was so appreciative and floored she did this. I was taken care of exceptionally from the nurse assistant who took my vitals, to the PA, to the office manager, great Center!!!!
Would take me hours to express all the good things about this practice! Had an appointment at 10:15am but began feeling sick the night before. I know medical practices like to charge you if you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours. Practice didn’t open until 8:30am, so I called and asked for a telehealth appointment. They granted my request with no issues. Sent me the necessary info and it was super easy to set it up. Even called me to check the system to make sure it would work ahead of my appointment. EVERY SINGLE team member was kind, thorough and compassionate. The PA I met with — Aesha Parikh — was amazing. She took the time to discuss all of concerns and questions. Made me feel important. I got a receipt for my copay emailed within minutes as requested, a follow up through the patient portal. I would never go to a different GI group as long as I keep receiving this kind of rare — but highly-desired — treatment. Wish more medical practices were like this one.

Today marked my initial contact with this establishment to schedule an appointment. Upon calling, I had the pleasure of speaking with Beverly, who demonstrated exceptional warmth and assistance from the outset. She diligently gathered my information and clarified the necessity of preliminary testing with my primary care physician, instructing me to follow up and schedule the appointment accordingly. Today I saw the physicians assistant she was wonderful. She listened to everything I had to say and was very concerned and followed up with Dr Lafond and took really good care of me. I really like this place this practice great place great people keep up the good work and thank you.
Dr. Chris Young is an excellent listener. He can engage very well and explain clearly about the symptoms and recommended options for further diagnosis and treatment plan. He is highly professional and knowledgeable, and he shows that he really cares for his patient. I highly recommended to others who are looking for a gastrointestinal specialist in Richmond.
