About Jean Mbachu, M.D.
Dr. Jean Mbachu is a board-certified gastroenterologist with Texas Digestive Disease Consultants (TDDC). She performs routine GI procedures such as EGDs, colonoscopies, pill-camera endoscopy all in the diagnosis, screening, and surveillance of gastrointestinal disorders and cancers. In addition, she also specializes in liver disorders including hepatitis, fatty liver, and cirrhosis. She is fluent in English. She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.

Being able to use my hands to exact immediate change is one of the most satisfying aspects of medicine and the field of gastroenterology allows me to do that on a daily basis.

If you need a colonoscopy, this is definitely the place you want to go ! They made an uncomfortable situation, comfortable. If you are an anxious/nervous person, they are very good at making you feel at ease. Dr Mbachu is Excellent & you can tell she loves her job !

Dr. Mbachu is great, she made me feel very comfortable. I was a little nervous at first but all the personnel, from the ladies at the front desk to the Nurse, Anesthesiologist and everyone who assisted me during my endoscopy, everyone did such a good work. I couldn't have asked for better care.
Dr. Mbachu is amazing! I had my first appointment with her in October and scheduled her just by chance bc she was the closest doctor to me. She truly listens to your concerns and really digs into your medical history to ensure she understands you holistically. I've never met anyone with better bedside manner and would definitely recommend her.
How can I start I was so afraid to get a colonoscopy and started looking for reviews. I have to say that my fears disappeared with the interactions with the nurse, anesthesiologist and finally the amazing doctor Mcbachu , what an amazing personality she made me feel so comfortable with everything, so thankful to God for that . If you ever need to be happy with any process this is the best doctor on earth.

Dr Mbanchu performed my first colonoscopy at Hill Country Ambulatory Surgery Center. I was very nervous about the procedure but Dr Mbachu made me comfortable and confident in my care the minute I met her. She was very approachable and made sure that all my questions were answered. She is very knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. I felt very confident in the care she provided.
