Gastroenterologist
About Jeffrey Weiser, M.D.
“The secret to patient care is caring for the patient” – Dr. Francis Peabody
Shortly after joining the group in 2002, Dr. Weiser introduced capsule endoscopy (a non invasive digital exam of the small bowel) to Hartford Hospital. He has a continued particular interest in small bowel issues such as obscure GI bleeding and malabsorption.
Dr. Weiser provides consultative services for all aspects of GI care. He performs a range of procedures including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy and enteroscopy.
Developing relationships with patients and seeing improvement in their well being are some of the most fulfilling aspects of his practice. When not in the office, Dr. Weiser can often be seen cycling in the greater Hartford suburbs and spending time with his wife and children.
