About Kelsey Able, D.O.
Dr. Able graduated from Kansas State University, receiving her Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Women’s Studies. She then received her Masters in Biomedical Sciences and Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri (KCU). Dr. Able completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas and served as a Chief Resident for an additional year followed by Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma. She has served on the Hospital Medical Ethics committees at KUMC and OU and is passionate about Ethics in Medicine. Dr. Able is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. While caring for a variety of digestive and liver diseases, her areas of clinical interest include colorectal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease and Hepatitis C treatment. She enjoys bringing compassionate, cutting-edge care to her patients and enjoys getting to know those for whom she cares for. Dr. Able treasures spending time with her family of boys (husband and two sons), practicing yoga, being outdoors and singing.
