http://www.IndyGastro.com Bloomington, Indiana native, Dr. Lucas M. Drake, is a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at Community Hospital South. In 2012 Indianapolis Monthly Magazine recognized him as one of the region’s top doctors. Committed to improving the gastrointestinal health and nutrition of his patients, Dr. Drake has published a number of articles. While still in his residency he co-authored an article detailing nutrition in gastrointestinal illness. Two years later he co-authored a nutrition and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) article for the American Gastroenterological Association’s online nutrition toolkit series. Dr. Drake graduated from Indiana University in 2000 and later earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency, then his Gastroenterology Fellowship with advanced training in Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Drake joined Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2011. He is a member of the Indianapolis Medical Society and the American College of Gastroenterology.
