About Michael E. Kader, M.D.

Dr. Michael E. Kader earned his undergraduate degree from Canisius College with a BS in Biology, his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, and completed his GI Fellowship with the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Dr. Kader is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist.

Dr. Kader has received many honors and awards including the Hearst Foundation Award, the Canisius College Earning Excellence Program, Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society, Who’s Who Among American College and University Students, and the James A. Gibson Anatomical Honor Society.

Dr. Kader’s gastroenterology interests are in all GI procedures including ERCP, colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and capsule endoscopy. He is trained in Hepatology with a wide exposure to pre-transplant and post-transplant patients.

Dr. Kader is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Kader enjoys time with his wife and three children, classic car restoration, bicycling, and fly-fishing.
