About Michael Russo, M.D.
Dr. Russo is board-certified in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition as well as general pediatrics. He has the training and expertise as a comprehensive, medical sub-specialist.
Dr. Russo’s clinical interests span both complex and common issues faced from the newborn period to the college years. He treats a wide range of disorders including gastroesophageal reflux, swallowing difficulties, abdominal pain, celiac disease, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), failure to thrive, abnormal liver enzymes, and allergic gastrointestinal disorders.
He also serves as the physician liaison for the DFW Eosinophilic Family Coalition and has a particular interest in eosinophilic esophagitis.

We cannot recommend Dr. Michael Russo enough. He was incredibly kind, friendly, professional and an expert. He put together an excellent and comprehensive care plan for our baby and spent time with us explaining everything and drawing pictures. As new parents, we were very grateful for the time he spent with us and left the office feeling confident and good about our plan for our baby. The office was also very nice and the team was very kind and helpful. Overall an excellent experience. Very highly recommend

Dr. Russo is absolutely amazing. He is so gentle and kind and very knowledgeable. His front staff I wish I could say the same for. We did not have a great experience with them, but do not let that deter you from this doctor.
Dr. Russo is simply the best with kids. He can connect better with my daughter than I can. It’s really scary when little one gets referred to a specialist, but we could not have had a better experience with Dr. Russo. We have been discharged and I’m a little sad that I won’t get to see him anymore!

Dr Russo is the most amazing doctor! He immediately put my son at ease before his procedure. He even told him jokes as he went to sleep. My son said he loves Dr Russo and wasn’t even nervous once he knew he was there and would take great care of him!
Exceptional experience with Dr. Russo and his staff. They were very welcoming, he listened to our concerns and formed a plan around that. Our child's procedure went well, well organized and explained everything to us. He listened well and made it very comfortable and even funny at times for our 16 year old. Follow up was great too and you can see that they truly care about their patients. Would recommend him 100%.
