Nandini Nagaraj, M.D.

Gastroenterologist

About Nandini Nagaraj, M.D.

Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?

Initially, managing patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease is what drew me to this specialty. But then, this specialty also involves managing disorders of multiple organs like liver, pancreas, esophagus, stomach and intestines, and I like the variety it offered. Also, it is a good blend of clinical and hands-on skills (procedures including endoscopy and colonoscopy) which is what I relish. Performing preventative screening colonoscopies to prevent colon cancer gives me great job satisfaction.
