My GI doc for 30 years recently retired and I was hearing horror stories about finding a new GI. Luckily my GP recommended Dr Merel and I couldn't be happier. Her office, the staff and the facility where she does colonoscopies not to mention Dr Merel herself were all top notch. Highly recommend!

Doctor was good in terms of direct suggestions to deal with my issue. The only disappointment about this first time visit is how rushed the doctor was. I was told by the referring person who is a patient of the doctor, that she is calm and takes time to listen. This was not my experience. Perhaps it was one of those extremely busy days. Nonetheless I will continue to keep her as my GI doctor.

Dr. Merely seems awesome, knowledgeable and thorough. Her support staff need coaching. The made me wait 45 minutes for the scheduler then told me and a waiting room full of people waiting to go, the scheduler will call. My time is valuable too, if he was that far behind tell me we are done right away and expect a call. Not well managed.
This was such an easy experience- I was in and out in an about an hour- no pain or discomfort whatsoever. Everyone was professional and friendly. A seamless experience all around.
The visit was fine with the Doctor! I did feel at the end that I was being rushed a little bit but most of the problems were addressed and hopefully I will get some positive results !!!

My visit with Dr Merel was great she took time to address my concerns.
Dr Merel has been my GI Specialist for a number of years. She listens and understands what the patient is expressing. She doesn’t push the patient on any treatment if not comfortable. She is very good at her specialty. I do recommend Dr Merel.
Dr Merel listens well and is always helpful. I've been seeing her for years.
