Richard Awtrey was born in Monroe, Louisiana in 1973. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1996 and the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 2001. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and his GI Fellowship at the LSU. Dr. Awtrey practices at the Uptown office of Metropolitan Gastroenterology Associates.

Dr Awtry and his staff are great!
The process was very seamless. I was checked in and taken to pre op area. The treatment was completely easy and done in record time. I was pleased how quickly it happened.
