I have some longstanding gastro issues, and Dr Cunningham is very patient and thorough in his evaluations of them. He is very knowledgeable and caring, and I trust him with my care!
Greg Byrd was awesome however the only problem I had was the very first person whom came and got me she seem like she was just over it she wasn't very welcoming at all. It seem as if her job is just routine to her verify check your weight and bp no type of professionalism about her interaction with patients other than that it was great and I forgot the male nurse name he was awesome he educated me about the procedure and we had a great conversation he answer my concerns, we need more like him in health care profession. GREAT JOB

Very thorough and considerate, I will definitely be using their services again.
Front desk reception can be improved by recognizing patients when they approach the front desk. If they are busy they should tell the customer that they will be right with them versus ignoring them while they continue their work. I had to wait probably 2-3 minutes before being recognized or my presence acknowledged. Otherwise a good overall experience.
I think Dr. McDuffie is an excellent doctor he is very thorough and he answers all your questions. Honestly, I think Dr McDuffie is the best doctor I’ve ever been to. I had been suffering from stomach ailments such as intense heartburn indigestion since I was 17 years old and went to several different Gastro doctors and none of them gave me the relief that Dr McDuffie did. If you are having any kind of stomach or digestive aliments I highly recommend you go see Scott McDuffie.at Sumter Gastroenterology.
Very professional and seen on time
Waiting area was nice quiet and clean! Wasn’t long at all after I sat down that I was called to the back where the nurse took all information! Shortly afterwards the Doctor came in. He was very thorough in updating history as well as listening, understanding and answering all my questions! I was in and out in a breeze!
I was particularly impressed with the way Nurse Greg presented and discussed things.

My appointment today went very well with Katherine Peil NP, she checked me over asked all the right questions and told me how she can still help with my prescription if I need more. Ms. Peil explained to me when she would need me to come back for my next schedule vist to prepare for my colonoscopy. Ms. Peil NP was very nice and helpful and i thank hear.
My experience was absolutely wonderful. Everything was explained so I could understand without any issues. I highly recommend sumter gastroenterology.
