About Thomas Rosenfield, M.D.
Dr. Rosenfield is a gastroenterologist who has been practicing in Palm Beach county for over 30 years. He graduated from the University of Florida where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and attended Vanderbilt University Medical School. After completing his residency in internal medicine, he served as Chief Resident in internal medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honorary society. He went on to complete his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Miami School of Medicine before starting his practice in Palm Beach county.
Dr. Rosenfield is board certified in gastroenterology and is the chief of the Department of Gastroenterology at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. He is also an original staff member at Wellington Regional Medical Center and is part of the teaching faculty.
He was listed as a “Top Doctor” in Palm Beach county in the Consumer’s Guide to Physicians.
His experience encompasses all areas of gastroenterology including treatment of acid-peptic disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, as well and liver, gallbladder and pancreatic disease.
Dr. Rosenfield is adept at upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and specialized treatment of Barrett’s esophagus.
Dr. Rosenfield is married, has four wonderful children and a growing number of grandchildren. His interests include reading, fitness and travel.
