Dr. Muscarello was fantastic start to finish. Maria his scheduler gave me very thorough pre-op instructions and then followed up with an email. I felt very comfortable and confident when I met him and he made sure I was clear on all discharge instructions before I left. He took great care of me.
Dr. Muscarello has been my doctor for approximately 17 plus years. He is very knowledgeable, takes his time when explaining things to you. Appointments are never rushed. He is very a thorough and caring person. I was in the hospital for a surgery not related to what he treats me for, he came to the hospital to see me and consulted with my team of doctors to share his knowledge on my case the team of doctors were happy he consulted with them and shared us knowledge on my condition.
Dr. Muscarello prescribed a new medication for me. It is working well.
This was my first visit with Dr. Muscarello and I was very impressed. He was very informative about many things. I had a concern about the high cost of a prescription I was on. He took the time to research alternative medications; and found one with a 0 Co-pay.
Amazing! He battled along side my dad hard against his colon cancer. I see him every 5 years and his gentle compassionate nature always put me at ease.
Recently I had a colonoscopy, performed by Dr Muscarello with the assistance of his medical crew. The proceedure was a success, with no discomfort. Dr Muscarello was very professional and explained the results immediately. He was kind and friendly during the pre and post op time. I would highly recommend him to others.
Dr Muscarello and staff continue their excellence ! Friendly and comforting in add too to -of course- providing excellent health care.

I find Dr Muscarello to be very professional. He is most knowledgeable and explains treatment options and recommendations in a manner that is easily understood. He’s the Best.
Dr muscarello personally reached out to me before the procedure to make sure I understood what was going on. I genuinely felt that he cared about making sure I knew what they were going to do.

Dr. Muscarello is an excellent Gastroenterologist- he communicates directly with you from scheduling to procedure. He lets you know exactly what’s going to happen before and what happened after procedure.
Wonderful caring Doctor. Advised me about the procedure and the results. Facility at Northwestern in Palos was fantastic and the staff extremely cordial and efficient.

Dr. Muscarello rocks! He is professional, personable, and really cares about the health of his patients.
I have been going to Dr. Muscarello for 15 or 20 years and there is no other G.I. Dr. I would go to as long as he is available. He is super smart, compassionate and takes his time with you. He truly care about his patients. His staff is also very caring and efficient. I highly recomend him.
