Dr. Hassig received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He received his Medical Doctorate from Michigan State University. Dr. Hassig completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Blodgett Medical Center, Saint Mary’s Hospital and Michigan State University and his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Henry Ford Hospital.

My procedure was done efficiently and professionally. The staff that worked with Dr. Hassig we're professional, efficient and were quite adept at putting me at ease.

Dr Hassig provides wonderful care and always takes the time to explain what’s going on. He’s extremely knowledgeable and I am confident in his care.
I had concerns regarding a stomach surgery and Dr. Hassig, who has been my gastroenterologist for several years, was responsive, supportive and made me feel like he truly knows his patients. I am saddened by his retirement but wish him all the best!

Very professional experience. Nursing staff were excellent and Dr and anesthesiologist were very, very competent. In all, a fast and easy experience.
Staff made me feel totally at ease. Explained everything. Was out by 9 in the count down, and awake by 8 I think. Can't really remember. Lol.
